Since this DJ set was preceded by the New Mastersound, with whom you are undoubtedly familiar, I will say a few things about their show first.
If you haven’t seen/heard them live yet, then you should, period. If you have seen/heard them live before, you should want to see them again. I know I do. I even know Nemo went 2 nights in a row without disappointment. I’m hoping to get my paws on the recordings of their live set as well, but for now, you guys (and gals) will ahve to make do with our humble DJ set, which features a few NMS tracks. Coincidence? I think not.

Just in time to get ya’ll fired up for the New Mastersounds show this friday, here’s our fashionably late recording of a month ago, filled to the brim with fiercely fat funk, sultry soul sisters and booming broken beats.
Oh, and no we didn’t make a track list this time. But if you’re curious about that one song at that specific time in the mix, just drop us a line and we’ll be glad to give you the info!
I know this one’s a bit late, but since I will not have time the next few days to rip and list the new MD with last friday’s recording, here’s the one of a month ago. It was ready to post before I left for Spain, but it just slipped through the cracks.
Oh yeah, if you didn’t notice yet, the fabulous New Mastersounds are going to visit our next MFF gig @ the SJU. Be there!!!
Anyway, there’s enough funky music in here to fill your boots and rock your shoes, so dig it (tracklisting below in this post)!
While the SJU wasn’t sold out, there were enough people to keep the fire burning. All the raw music we threw on the decks was properly grilled and steamed on the dancefloor. Nice!
