Mama’s Funky Flow

Last friday, once again my MD recorder had a dead battery, but I didn’t feel like going on a scavenger hunt to find any batteries with some juice to spare. To fix this, there’s a new device on its way, hopefully it’ll be here in time to record the next set.

For now however, we will have to make do with the recordings of the previous gig. If I remember well, it was a nice diverse set, with a little bit more electronic/breaks stuff than usual, but still as funky and fresh as the maddest of sets you’ve come to expect from us.

So, without further delay and without any form of track list, here’s the recording of December 19th.

Due to error on the side of the SJU the first regular night was moved to Friday 23rd of May. As far as we know the regular nights will still be the first friday of the month, starting june 6th.

It could be still worth your wile to come to the SJU May 2nd, word is there will be some special guest DJ’s.  More info on the SJU website.

From this friday on, MFF has secured a regular spot at the SJU on the first friday of the month. So now you know exactly when you can groove out to our funky tunes there.

It seems that upgrading our wordpress code, although supposedly fixing some security issues, did manage to break a lot of plugins. It seems I have to choose between having podcasts online, or calendar information. I chose to go with the audio files.

Calendar information is still available by clicking the gigs link.

It’s just the handy ‘upcoming events’ overview that’s missing. We hope to be able to get a working version up soon.
